Virginia holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Leicester in the UK and a Masters on Business Administration (MBA) from the CIIM. She is a member of the Cyprus Bar Association since 2004. 

She specialises in corporate and commercial matters on issues such as acquisitions and mergers, shareholders agreements, disputes and generally all kinds of corporate transactions. She provides legal representation, support and substantial assistance to clients relating to the acquisition of a real estate in Cyprus by handling the entire property acquisition procedure from the negotiating stage, development, leasing through to the completion. 

Before joining E & G Economides LLC, Virginia was also dealing with litigation cases focusing mostly on banking, tort, real estate and administration proceedings. 

In her current position, Virginia is focusing on corporate & commercial and banking & finance matters, as well as drafting and reviewing corporate agreements of various sorts and legal transactions.

Marilyn holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Master of International Commercial Law, both from the University of Surrey. She further holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Intellectual Property Law and Practice with specialisation in patent drafting from Bournemouth University. She was admitted to the Cyprus Bar Association in 2014.

At the beginning of her legal career, Marilyn worked as a trainee lawyer at a prestigious law firm, where she trained in a general spectrum of litigation, corporate and employment law matters by preparing pleadings and presenting cases before the District Court.

Marilyn specialises in the field of corporate and commercial law by advising clients on formation of Cyprus and foreign corporate entities, corporate governance matters, corporate re-structurings and by drafting and reviewing of various legal agreements, contracts and corporate documents.

She also assists corporate clients with the coordination and completion of multi-million acquisition deals in cross-border transactions by drafting, negotiating and reviewing corporate transaction documents and ensuring compliance with notification obligations to the relevant authorities. Further, she advises clients on the various aspects of the granting of charges, pledges and other securities over the assets of corporate entities.
