George Economides, partner in E&G Economides LLC was a speaker at the STEP Europe Virtual Panel Discussions series which took place on April 21st.
The webinar focused on the European Commission’s public consultation that led to the drafting of the anti-tax avoidance Directive 3 (ATAD3) addressing the misuse of “shell” companies. An in-depth analysis of the draft Directive was presented; speakers also discussed the possible local implications on general business and wealth planning in Luxembourg, Italy, Hungary and Cyprus. STEP’s position was also briefly presented during the webinar.
