Cyprus further expands its treaty network with the signing of a Double Tax Treaty with the Kingdom of Bahrain on 9 March, 2015.  The treaty is now subject to ratification before it comes into effect.

In line with the press release issued by the Cyprus Ministry of Finance, the Treaty is based on the OECD Model Convention for the Avoidance of Double Taxation on Income and Capital.
